Finalists 2012
Sixty-four cupcakes were shortlisted for the finals of the National Cupcake Championships, which took take place on 2 July at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.
During the preliminary judging round, 204 entries - double the number of entries than in 2011 - were whittled down to 64, across the seven categories. See below for a full list of the shortlisted entries.
The shortlisted cupcakes were judged on a number of criteria, specifically taste and appearance, at the finals in July 2012.
