Alcohol cupcakes are latest trend
However, followers of National Cupcake Week will know that the trend of alcohol infused cupcakes has been around for some time now.
And, what's more, this year's winner of the National Cupcake Championship, Emily Johnson from the Upsy Daisy Bakery, is one of its best purveyors. She scooped the title of National Cupcake Champion thanks to her mojito inspired offer back at the final judging in July this year.
Ever with its fingers on the pulse however, the Daily Mail has finally cottoned on to the joys of mixing cake and booze.
"Cake? Good. Cocktails? Good." Writes the newspaper, adding. "Cake plus cocktails? Blooming marvellous."
So to celebrate Emily's win we want to know if you are going to be trying alcohol-based recipes for this year's National Cupcake Week.
